Why am I unable to connect to the reflector or not be heard by the reflector?

If you are unable to connect to the reflector or if your transmission is not going through the reflector, here are a few possible causes.

  1. Please make sure your hotspot/gateway is connecting with a valid amateur callsign and your radio is sending your callsign when you transmit. If either is not sending a valid callsign, but sending something like HOME, YOURCITY, NOCALL, TEST, etc... it will be blocked from using the reflector.
  2. It is possible that your callsign might be blocked on the reflector due to violations of the terms of use for the reflector. If you are not sure if you have been blocked, feel free to contact the reflector administrator using the Open A Ticket link or send an email to xlx@va6mo.ca
